On May 14, 2018, the Richmond County Medical Society will host “Life After Training,” the first in a series of dinner meetings focusing on the issues faced by medical students, residents and fellows. The event, which is sponsored by MLMIC, is free, but seating is limited. Registration is requested.
The program for the evening includes two presentations:
- “Negotiating Contracts for Residents” and
- “Point/Counterpoint,” details from recent graduates on independent and employed practice, by Dr. Dan Choi and Dr. Carlos Zapata.
Registration and cocktails begin at 6:30 p.m., with dinner and lectures starting at 7 p.m.
The event will take place at The Staaten, 697 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10310.
