Open Bar: MLMIC’s Commitment to Continuing Medical Education

MLMIC has a proud tradition of offering New York-specific continuing medical education (CME) to insured policyholders and has done so for over 40 years. The goal of the education programs is to enhance medical care by maintaining, augmenting and updating learners’ medical knowledge, skills and behavior, in order to facilitate the delivery of medical care to their patients.

Over the years, MLMIC has reached out to dental residents in New York to provide informative risk management programs geared to new dentists about topics like communication, the electronic health record, charting and healthcare proxy law.

MLMIC Announces New Online Risk Management Program

MLMIC is pleased to announce the release of its latest online Risk Management CME program, Proactive Risk Management Follow-Up Program VIII. Those who complete the program can qualify for both premium credit and CME credits and may become eligible for the NYS “free” excess insurance program.

Online registration is open for MLMIC’s April 11 Risk Management Program at the Westchester Marriott Hotel (670 White Plains Road) in Tarrytown. The conference qualifies physicians for CME credit and covers current risk management issues facing all specialties.
