January 2026 Events for New York Dentists

The MLMIC Insurance Company Dental Team is kicking off the New Year in style, joining with many New York State dental societies in welcoming their incoming presidents and officers. A risk management course and dental residency presentation are also on the schedule this month. If you are attending any of these events, please say hello!

New York County Dental Society is hosting a New Dentist event, “Drinks, Clinks, & Celebration” on Thursday, January 8 at Suites by NYLO at 6:30 pm in Manhattan. MLMIC is a sponsor and will be joining NYCDS new dentists at the event.

MLMIC is delivering its new Dental Risk Management Course for the Third District Dental Society on Friday, January 9 at 6:30 pm via Zoom. You can find out more and register here. The course provides a 10% discount on your MLMIC policy for three years and 3 CE credits.

On Sunday, January 11, the Second District Dental Society is holding its annual Installation of Officers and Awards Luncheon at 12 pm at Giando on the Water in Brooklyn. MLMIC is a proud sponsor and will have dental team members in attendance. 

The Suffolk County Dental Society is holding its Officers Installation luncheon on Sunday, January 25 at the Watermill in Smithtown, NY at 11am. MLMIC will attend this luncheon and is a proud sponsor of this annual event. 

On Saturday, January 31, the Nassau County Dental Society is holding its 2026 President’s Gala and Officers Installation dinner at The Crest Hollow County Club in Westbury, NY, starting at 6:30 pm. MLMIC sponsors and attends this event every year and always looks forward to dancing and familiar faces!

The first dental residency legal and risk management presentation of 2026 is taking place via webinar on Wednesday, January 21 at 6:30 pm for the dental residents at NY Presbyterian – The Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
