On Monday, November 2nd, Nassau County Dental Society is holding a general membership meeting and CE course at The Inn at New Hyde Park, 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm. The CE course is "Management of the Failing Implant: A Comprehensive Approach" presented by David Jurman, DDS, MD. MLMIC is a sponsor and will attend.
New York County Dental Society is holding a general membership meeting and CE course on Monday, November 2nd at its headquarters, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. The CE course will be “The Oral Cancer Survival Gap: New Comparative Insights into the Disease’s Toughest Challenges”, presented by Brian L. Schmidt, DDS, MD, PhD. MLMIC is a sponsor and will attend.
The annual Buffalo Niagara Dental Meeting is taking place Wednesday, November 4th – Friday, November 6th at the Buffalo Convention Center. MLMIC is providing its Risk Management Course for the 10% policy discount and 3CE credits on Wed. Nov. 4th, 2:30 – 5:30 pm. The course is being presented by Dr. Fred Wetzel, Brenna Gubala, Esq., MLMIC Attorney, and Shelly Kriete, MLMIC Senior Risk Management Consultant.
On Thurs. Nov. 5th, Dr. Gregory Dodd will present at MLMIC’s Lunch and Learn at BNDM for students and residents from 12pm – 1pm, delivering the program based on the New Dentist Handbook Dr. Dodd developed exclusively for MLMIC, which provides practical advice and tips for a successful job search after completing residency. MLMIC is a sponsor and will have an exhibit booth so come by to say hi!
On Tuesday, November 10th, the Suffolk County Dental Society is hosting a New Dentist Event, “Teeth & Tunes” at its headquarters in Hauppauge, NY, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, and a fun night is planned with Name That Tune and Oral Pathology challenges on the agenda. MLMIC is a sponsor, will attend, and just may join in on the challenges!
The Fifth District Dental Society is hosting its Fall Seminar on Friday, November 13th, at the Hampton Inn & Suites Cazenovia, 8 am – 4pm. The morning session is on “5 Tech Trends that Will Reshape the Future of Dentistry over the Next 5 Years” and the afternoon is “Make 3D Printing a Big Winner for Your Dental Practice.” MLMIC will attend and have an exhibit table so come by to say hello!
The Ninth District Dental Society will host its Annual Meeting on Wednesday, November 18, at the Westchester Country Club, Rye, NY, 7:30 am – 4 pm. The Scientific Program is "Craftsmanship-Driven Oral Rehabilitation: From Surgical Reconstruction to Computational Intelligence", presented by Young K. Kim, M.D.M., D.M.Sc. MLMIC is a sponsor and exhibitor.
The Suffolk County Dental Society is hosting a general membership meeting and CE course on Wednesday, November 18th at the Hamlet Golf and Country Club, 5pm – 9 pm. The CE course is “Cracked Teeth!” presented by Alexander Sanchez, DDS. MLMIC is a sponsor and will attend.
Rounding out the month is the annual Greater New York Dental Meeting, Friday, November 27th – Tuesday, December 1st.
