Greater Long Island Dental Meeting (GLIDM)

GLIDM is around the corner! This year, the Board focused the event on “the health and well-being of the entire office” to improve efficiency and deliver optimal outcomes. Sessions will take place Tuesday afternoon and evening and all-day Wednesday. There will also be an exhibit hall. MLMIC is sponsoring this event, will have an exhibit and will have representatives in attendance.

Registration is free for dentist residents and students, and costs for dentists and dental staff depend on American Dental Association (ADA) membership status. Register here. 

Give Kids a Smile Event

This year’s Give Kids a Smile event includes dental screenings for underserved children and complimentary admission to the Long Island Aquarium for any kids (and a guardian) who receive a screening! Dental services and aquarium admission is donated by members of SCDS; faculty, residents and students at Stony Brook University School Dental Medicine, residents from the St. Charles Hospital; and students from the Farmingdale State College Hygiene Program and Eastern Suffolk BOCES.
