MLMIC understands that dental practices evolve over time, and we also realize that your first thought might not be to notify your insurance carrier. However, it is important to provide your underwriter with any updates to ensure proper dental professional liability coverage is in place. Many practices have changed structure, location or weekly office hours post-pandemic and it’s important to keep your policy information up to date.
Starting in May, MLMIC began sending out correspondence requesting that you complete a renewal update. This request should come approximately 60-90 days prior to your policy’s renewal date. The short electronic form can be completed in less than five minutes and will provide us with the most up-to-date picture of what your practice looks like. While we understand that you are very busy, it is imperative that MLMC receives this update by the due date that will be provided to ensure that proper coverage is in place and that you are receiving the most advantageous pricing we can offer.
