September 2025 Events for New York Dentists
The lazy days of summer are not lingering for MLMIC’s Dental Team, as September is full of events. If you are also attending, please be sure to say hello!
On Monday, Sept. 8, the New York County Dental Society is holding a general membership meeting and CE seminar, starting at 5:30 p.m. at its headquarters located at 622 Third Avenue, NY, NY. MLMIC is sponsoring and will be present.
The Fifth District Dental Society is holding its annual Central NY Dental Conference on Friday, Sept. 12. MLMIC will have an exhibit and be in attendance.
The World’s Fair of Dentistry, brought to you by the Queens County Dental Society, is taking place on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13 and 14, at Terrace on the Park, Flushing, Queens, NY. MLMIC is a proud sponsor of this two-day event, will have an exhibit and will also provide a presentation on Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m., “Managing Patient Expectations” for CE credit. MLMIC attorney William Hassett, Esq. and risk management consultant Deanna Mirro-Altmann will deliver the presentation.
On Sunday, Sept. 14, the Suffolk County Dental Society is holding a New Dentist event with CE credit at the Riverhead Ciderhouse from noon to 2:30 p.m. MLMIC is a sponsor and will be there!
Suffolk County Dental Society is also holding a virtual general membership meeting and CE seminar on Wednesday, Sept. 24 and MLMIC provides ongoing sponsorship of these meetings.
The Ninth District Dental Society is holding a general membership meeting and CE event at the Westchester Manor in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, on Wednesday, Sept. 17. MLMIC proudly sponsors this event and will have a representative on-site.
MLMIC is providing its new Dental Risk Management course, developed in collaboration with NYSDA, at the Fourth District Dental Society’s semi-annual meeting and annual golf tournament on Friday, Sept. 19, at Hiland Park Golf Club in Queensbury, NY. The risk management course will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be delivered by Fred Wetzel, D.D.S., MLMIC managing attorney Nancy May-Skinner, Esq. and MLMIC senior risk management consultant Shelly Kriete. MLMIC will also have a golf foursome out on the links in the afternoon. We hope to see you at both!
On Monday, Sept. 29, the Nassau County Dental Society is holding a general membership meeting and CE seminar at The Inn at New Hyde Park, at 6:30 p.m. MLMIC sponsors this event and will have a representative in attendance.
MLMIC is also providing a dental residents educational webinar to the dental residents at Mt. Sinai Hospital, NY, NY, on Thursday, Sept. 11.
