The first few years out of dental school are exciting, but also filled with questions and anxieties. We’re honored to partner with the New York State Dental Association (NYSDA) for an upcoming interactive webinar to kick off the New Dentist Survival Guide webinar series for new dentists.

Join us on February 21, 2023, for “Welcome to the Jungle,” a MLMIC presentation designed to educate dental residents and new dentists on dental professional liability insurance basics. We will explore the most frequently occurring claims seen in dentistry, common pitfalls, risk management strategies and tips for best practices to avoid pitfalls and claims. Attendees will receive 1 CE credit!

Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the key differences between occurrence and claims-made professional liability policies
  • Identify common claims seen in dentistry
  • Understand what leads to dental malpractice claims
  • Discuss risk management strategies to help avoid claims.
