New York Health IT Symposium to Address EHR Risk Management

On Saturday, April 28, Medical Society of the County of Kings will sponsor the 2018 New York Health Information Technology Symposium, which qualifies participants for a total of 5 CME credits. Supported and endorsed by the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) and MLMIC, the event will take place at Brooklyn Borough Hall in Brooklyn, NY.

Designed for physicians from all specialties, the New York Health IT Symposium will examine issues with EHR technology, including

  • liability pitfalls in EHR documentation,
  • fraud risks in documenting encounters and
  • privacy, security and confidentiality in EHR technology.

There is no charge to attend, but space is limited.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Accreditation Requirements and Policies of the Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) and Medical Society of the County of Kings (MSCK). MSSNY is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Medical Society of the State of New York designates this live activity for a maximum of 5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
